Principal's Bio

GREETINGS...from the Principal

I am Marshae Madison-Pelt, Principal of G. W. Watts Elementary School. I am a 1994 graduate of _{STILLMAN COLLEGE (GO TIGERS),} Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In addition, I received a Masters of Science(Elementary Education)from Troy State University Montgomery in 2004. I continued my education, thus receiving Administration Certification in 2005 from Alabama State University and an Education Specialist(Ed.S.)degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2007.

My career in education began in 1995. From 1995-2001, I taught first grade. From 2001-2007, I was employed as a Reading Coach. Currently, I am Principal of G. W. Watts Elementary.

My husband and I are the parents of 4 lively BOYS!!! In addition, we serve as parents to many more kids including our sons' friends.

I am a member of several professional and cultural organizations, including Alabama Education Association, Phi Beta Lambda Business, National Education Association, Kappa Delta Phi and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 

I am thrilled to serve as an Administrator in the Wilcox County School System especially in "MUSTANG" Territory. I look forward to another SUCCESSFUL school year.
